Some Great Tips from ORBIK include:
To avoid shadows, the most important bathroom lighting idea is to fully surround your face with flattering light, install a fixture at least 24” wide over the mirror, plus wall sconces on each side of the mirror, at least 28” apart and 60” above the floor. ORBIK can do this using only one electrical box. They allow matching mini pendants to surround the mirror while also providing light from above.
If you have a double sink vanity with a single mirror, use a light that is almost as wide as the mirror. The light should be mounted 78” from the floor, centered over the mirror.
Besides the vanity/mirror lighting, you may need an additional flush mount or semi flush fixture with possible recess lighting in shower areas. A ORBIK CEILING could provide more light while adding a touch of decor to the room.
Vanity lights surrounding a dressing table mirror can create a wonderful light free of shadows and free up space on the counter.
LED linear lighting installed as toe kick lighting can make wonderful nighttime navigation lighting
Step lights added on the wall from the door to the toilet can make excellent nighttime navigation lighting
